INTRODUCTION
This programme is designed for students aged between 18 and 28 years interested in an internship experience in one of the worlds most beautiful countries Brazil. We work alongside several organizations throughout Brazil. Our objective is to find a place that suits the candidate's profile best, considering the information supplied in the application form.

ACCOMMODATION DETAILS
Options will be presented to the students. These types of accommodation may be free or at a low cost, students will be able to pay with their wages. If students do not approve the accommodation they may request another type as a hotel, but that will be charged and the payment of the accommodation is the student‘s responsibility.
Types of accommodation:
Family House: Participants taking Portuguese classes may be placed with local families. Families can offer a private room and bathroom but this is not a rule; the candidate can share the room and bathroom with another family member.
Hall of Residence: it is very common to share a house with other students in cities where you have Universities. There are few opportunities for private rooms.
Hostels: in big cities the hostels are located downtown.
The most common type of accommodation chosen by the students is hostfamily, which is cheaper or even for free
sometimes. The family may or may not offer food. What usually happens is the students have breakfast and dinner at home and lunch at work, which is included, and they won’t have to pay for it.
The student can live in the same house during their program period; they might have to move when their stay is longer than 6 months.

WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE FEE
· Return airline ticket to Brazil
· Accommodation and food (Monthly expenses in Brazil Including food and personal expenses varies from USD100 to USD150 approximately. In addition it usually costs about USD 200 a month to rent a house or
apartment depending on the area and region.
· Temporario Item I Visa (At the moment, the cost of a Brazilian Visa is around USD 75.00 / GBP 40.00 Please also note that it takes about a week or two for the Brazilian embassy to issue Visa)
· Travel Medical Insurance. All candidates are required to apply for health insurance through APV TRAVEL.
Details of a variety of insurance coverage schemes can be found on our website. This payment should be made after the work placement is arranged.
ELIGIBILITY
Students aged between 18 and 28 years.
Language Requirements: Applicants should have a basic knowledge of Portuguese so that they can adapt to their working environment more quickly and can perform better during the internship. Intermediate level of Portuguese is a plus as some companies may require that.
Trainees who choose COMBO (Portuguese classes + internship) will have Portuguese classes for two weeks - 15 lessons a week - before the beginning of the internship.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
Travel Medical Insurance - We require that you additionally purchase affordable and comprehensive travel medical insurance from APV TRAVEL. You can use this insurance for up to one year and it provides unlimited coverage for doctor and hospital care, as well as medication.
