Internships are the best way of acquiring working experience in the field you would like to work in, whilst learning a new language. APV TRAVEL offers you the opportunity for Internship programs in Argentina.
This challenging experience will prepare you for the future and you will also have the chance to get involved and immerse yourself into the local culture and working environment.
Internships act as a learning process, you are placed in an Argentinean organization or company in a position related to your study field, where you will gain useful work experience for your future professional career.

Locations
The participants can choose from Beunos Aires, Cordoba, Mendoza, Bariloche and Ushuaia.
Pay
All intern positions are unpaid professional training opportunities where you will gain valuable experience.
Duration
The interns decide the duration and the term of their program. For this to be a truly positive experience, all
positions are organized based on a minimum term of eight weeks and a maximum of six months. Our host
institutions are very flexible in regards to the starting date, and we always try to adjust them to both the
interns needs and arrival date.
Please note:
For placements in:
Law there is no activity in January and February.

- Availability: March to November.
Education Area: there is no activity in December, January and February.
- Application deadline in this area: October 15.
- Availability: March to November, with a break of 2 weeks in the middle of July (winter vacation).
Health Area: the activities of the participant will be limited to shadowing the local professional. Under no circumstances the interns will interact directly with the patients even if they have a professional training (doctor, nurse, paramedic degree) in their home country.

Homestay
APV TRAVEL recommends homestay as a great personal introduction and welcome to the daily life in Argentina. Living with an Argentinian family will give you a unique insight into the culture and values of their country and assist in preparing you for the business environment.
All homestay families are carefully selected. After indicating your homestay preferences, APV TRAVEL will take the time to make sure that you have a homestay provided to meet your specific needs.
The fees for homestay vary and are influenced by your choice of location however please refer to the price section for details on the homestay rates. If you choose this option when you first arrive you will be asked to pay four weeks fees and then you may pay the family directly.
Shared Accommodation
Share accommodation is available in most locations. Many visitors choose to share flats or units with other students or young singles and this option is popular for the independent interns who enjoy their own space.
We strongly advise that you take the time to meet and view the premises for a share option after your arrival as they will vary quite dramatically, as will the people providing the accommodation.

Eligibility Criteria
18 years old
· Finished high school
· College or university studies (finished or not)
· Flexibility, adaptability, responsibility, and sensitivity towards other cultures, ways of life and conception of work.
· Interest in taking part actively in the host organization and integrating in the daily life of the host country.
· Willingness to be useful to the host organization through the tasks assigned and to contribute to the improvement of the organization.
· Commitment to respect the regulations of the program and the rules and protocol of the host organization.
· Commitment to the agreed start and end dates of the program.
· Intermediate level of Spanish that guarantees the communication with the local people and the successful development of the program.
Important: in case of not having the required level of Spanish, the participants can
take a course before the beginning of the internship program.
Required Documents
Every candidate should complete thoroughly all the documents and forms of the APV TRAVEL
Application Package. An application is considered complete when the following documents have been received:
1. Application Form
2. CV with photograph (in English or German and in Spanish)
3. Letter of Intent (in English or German and in Spanish)
4. Letter of Recommendation (academic or from previous or present employer)
5. Full insurance information. It should include insurance coverage and procedure in case of accident or medical assistance needed.
6. Passport Number
Each internship placement listed has a limited availability. It is important that interns have this in mind and that they consider at least 3 alternative placements.
Deadlines
All the applications should be received before the deadlines for each program:
